The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 9.10

तावर्चयामासतुरर्हतस्तं दिवीव शुक्राङ्गिरसौ महेन्द्रम् ।
प्रत्यर्चयामास स चार्हतस्तौ दिवीव शुक्राङ्गिरसौ महेन्द्रः ॥ १० ॥

tāvarcayāmāsaturarhatastaṃ divīva śukrāṅgirasau mahendram |
pratyarcayāmāsa sa cārhatastau divīva śukrāṅgirasau mahendraḥ || 10 ||

They paid him honour as was fitting, as Shukra and Angiras honoured Indra in heaven; and he in return paid due honour to them, as Indra in heaven to Shukra and Angiras.
