The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 8.46

यदा वहिर्गच्छति पार्थिवात्मजस्तदाभवद्द्वारमपावृतं स्वयम् ।
तमश्च नैशं रविणेव पाटितं ततो ऽपि दैवो विधिरेष गृह्यताम् ॥ ४६ ॥

yadā vahirgacchati pārthivātmajastadābhavaddvāramapāvṛtaṃ svayam |
tamaśca naiśaṃ raviṇeva pāṭitaṃ tato 'pi daivo vidhireṣa gṛhyatām || 46 ||

'When the prince went out, then the gate was thrown open of its own accord; and the darkness of the night was, as it were, pierced by the sun,—we may learn from hence too that this was the ordering of fate.
