This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 75.105

तस्य ते वचनं श्रुत्वा सार्थवाहस्य वाणिजा ।
समग्रा सहिता सर्वे अगमु उत्तरां दिशं ॥ १०५ ॥

tasya te vacanaṃ śrutvā sārthavāhasya vāṇijā |
samagrā sahitā sarve agamu uttarāṃ diśaṃ || 105 ||

When they had heard their leader’s words all the merchants gathered together on the northern shore. (105)
