This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 31.6

षण्णवति प्रत्येकबुद्धकोटीनि निर्वृत्तानि स्वयंभुनो ।
येषु जिन अकासि कालं प्रार्थयमानो भवनिरोधं ॥ ६ ॥

ṣaṇṇavati pratyekabuddhakoṭīni nirvṛttāni svayaṃbhuno |
yeṣu jina akāsi kālaṃ prārthayamāno bhavanirodhaṃ || 6 ||

Ninety-six kotis of independent Pratyekabuddhas passed away, and under them the Conqueror fulfilled his time in his quest to end existence. (6)
