This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

सुचिरस्य धर्मचक्षुर् विशोधितं धर्मसंशयं छिन्नं ।
मोहतिमिरावनद्धं उषितो ऽस्मि चिरं अपायेषु ॥ ५९ ॥

sucirasya dharmacakṣur viśodhitaṃ dharmasaṃśayaṃ chinnaṃ |
mohatimirāvanaddhaṃ uṣito 'smi ciraṃ apāyeṣu || 59 ||

“At long last my dharma-eye is cleared, my doubt of dharma is dispelled. Long did I dwell in the dark dungeon of folly, in states of woe. (59)
