The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अचेतनं शवीभूतं तेऽपि पश्यन्ति तं मृतम् ।
रुदन्ति तं च दहने क्षिपन्ति सह बान्धवैः ॥ १३ ॥

acetanaṃ śavībhūtaṃ te'pi paśyanti taṃ mṛtam |
rudanti taṃ ca dahane kṣipanti saha bāndhavaiḥ || 13 ||

The friends of the dying man, lying insensible as a dead body; weep and wail over his corpse, and then take him to the funeral ground for his cremation.
