The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.174.3

यथा स्वप्नसुषुप्तात्म निद्रारूपकमेव खम् ।
दृश्यादृश्यांशमेकात्मरूपं चिन्नभसस्तथा ॥ ३ ॥

yathā svapnasuṣuptātma nidrārūpakameva kham |
dṛśyādṛśyāṃśamekātmarūpaṃ cinnabhasastathā || 3 ||

As the dream and sound sleep of the soul, do both of them appertain to its sleeping state; when the mind remains as vacant as empty air; so the visible and invisible creation (i.e. its presence and absence) are both of them alike in the vacuity of the Intellect.
