The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्वभ्राभोलूकलिखितं जनौघमुसलाहतम् ।
शिरःकरखुरस्कन्धखण्डोत्कगृध्रमण्डलम् ॥ ५४ ॥

śvabhrābholūkalikhitaṃ janaughamusalāhatam |
śiraḥkarakhuraskandhakhaṇḍotkagṛdhramaṇḍalam || 54 ||

Hungry vultures and owls, were picking up and tearing the dead bodies, out of caves and places; and their limbs and members, were mangled and scattered all over the ground.
