The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.133.19

आसीत्तत्पतनं तस्य मेरुशैलशिलाकृतेः ।
दलनं शैलश्रृङ्गाणां विदारणकरं भुवः ॥ १९ ॥

āsīttatpatanaṃ tasya meruśailaśilākṛteḥ |
dalanaṃ śailaśrṛṅgāṇāṃ vidāraṇakaraṃ bhuvaḥ || 19 ||

Its fall was as the breaking down of a mountain pinnacle or fragment, smashing the tops of the lower hills, rending and splitting the ground, and levelling all things on earth with the dust.
