The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असम्यग्बोधदुर्दृष्टेरहो नु विषमा गतिः ।
व्योम्न्येव दर्शयत्येषा सर्गाडम्बरसंभ्रमम् ॥ ३३ ॥

asamyagbodhadurdṛṣṭeraho nu viṣamā gatiḥ |
vyomnyeva darśayatyeṣā sargāḍambarasaṃbhramam || 33 ||

O to what miseries is man exposed, owing to his want of precise understanding, and by his false knowledge of the reality of these worlds, that are seen to be revolving in empty shape.
