तामेवार्यां पठन्ती सा तथैवानुनयान्विता ।
मत्समीपे नभोदेहा व्योम्नि देवीव संस्थिता ॥ १८ ॥

vasiṣṭha uvāca |
tāmevāryāṃ paṭhantī sā tathaivānunayānvitā |
matsamīpe nabhodehā vyomni devīva saṃsthitā || 18 ||

Vasishtha replied:—That aerial damsel of aeriform body, that recited in the arya metre; advanced courteously towards me, and sat herself beside me in the air.
