The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.44.32

यस्यामवान्तरश्रान्तो विश्राम्यति मनोमृगः ।
आजन्मजीर्णपथिकः पथि कोलाहलाकुलः ॥ ३२ ॥

yasyāmavāntaraśrānto viśrāmyati manomṛgaḥ |
ājanmajīrṇapathikaḥ pathi kolāhalākulaḥ || 32 ||

The deerlike mind being tired with its wanderings, about the deserts of this world; takes its rest and refuge under this cool shade; as a weary traveller, worried out from his very birth, in his journey among men, comes to take his rest at last.
