अपुनःस्मरणं सम्यक् चिरविस्मृतकर्म तत् ।
स्थितं स्तम्भोदरसमं स कर्मत्याग उच्यते ॥ २५ ॥

apunaḥsmaraṇaṃ samyak ciravismṛtakarma tat |
sthitaṃ stambhodarasamaṃ sa karmatyāga ucyate || 25 ||

An act which is not remembered, and which is forgotten as if it were buried in oblivion, is as no act of its doer; and this oblivion is equal to the abandonment of action.
