The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
भरद्वाज श्रृणुष्वेदं महाज्ञानं विमुक्तिदम् ।
यस्य श्रवणमात्रेण भवाब्धौ न निमज्जसि ॥ ६१ ॥

śrīvālmīkiruvāca |
bharadvāja śrṛṇuṣvedaṃ mahājñānaṃ vimuktidam |
yasya śravaṇamātreṇa bhavābdhau na nimajjasi || 61 ||

Valmiki answered said:—Hear now, Bharadwaja, of the highest knowledge (which is taught by that sage) for the salvation of mankind; and the hearing of which will save you from your drowning in the iniquities of the world.
