The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एवमाद्यं परं तत्त्वं चिद्धनं परमं पदम् ।
तत्स्था एते महारूपा ब्रह्मविष्णुहरादयः ॥ ५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
evamādyaṃ paraṃ tattvaṃ ciddhanaṃ paramaṃ padam |
tatsthā ete mahārūpā brahmaviṣṇuharādayaḥ || 5 ||

He who meditates for a moment, on the universal essence of all (as the ens entium); he becomes liberated in an instant, and lives as a liberal minded sage or muni on earth.
