The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.56.22

क्षणभावितमोहेन कल्पना परिकल्पिता ।
असदेव मनोराज्यं कर्तुं शक्तं यथा मनः ॥ २२ ॥

kṣaṇabhāvitamohena kalpanā parikalpitā |
asadeva manorājyaṃ kartuṃ śaktaṃ yathā manaḥ || 22 ||

Though the erroneous thoughts of the mind, are so instantaneous and temporary; yet it has the power of stretching out the ideas of the length and duration of the world, as it has of producing new ideas of all things from nothing.
