The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.41.44

परं परे प्रस्फुरितं केवलं केवलात्म सत् ।
जलपीठस्य जठरे जलद्रवविलासवत् ॥ ४४ ॥

paraṃ pare prasphuritaṃ kevalaṃ kevalātma sat |
jalapīṭhasya jaṭhare jaladravavilāsavat || 44 ||

It is the supreme Being only, which contains the essence of the soul, as it is the sea which contains the limpid waters.
