The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.15.18

गौरीरक्षितबर्हौघान्कौमारान्वरबर्हिणः ।
स्कन्दोपन्यस्तनिःशेषशैवविज्ञानकोविदान् ॥ १८ ॥

gaurīrakṣitabarhaughānkaumārānvarabarhiṇaḥ |
skandopanyastaniḥśeṣaśaivavijñānakovidān || 18 ||

I saw there the groups of peacocks fostered by the goddess Gauri (The peacocks of Juno), as also the big peacocks belonging to the god Kumara; I beheld likewise the vehicle of skanda, which are versed in knowledge.
