The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.11.34

शिशोरिव स्फुरद्यक्षा निशा पुंसस्तु केवला ।
अस्मिन्ब्रह्मघटे नित्यमेकस्मिन्सर्वतः स्थिते ॥ ३४ ॥

śiśoriva sphuradyakṣā niśā puṃsastu kevalā |
asminbrahmaghaṭe nityamekasminsarvataḥ sthite || 34 ||

As the darkness of the night, presents its goblins and spectres, to the sight of children only, and not those of the grown up and adult; so the world presents its delusions to ignorant and never to the wise, who behold one Brahma only in all things before them.
