यत्संसारनदी मत्ता तत्संसक्तिविजृम्भितम् ॥ २० ॥

svānarthāntarasaṃkāśapadārthaśatasaṃkulā |
yatsaṃsāranadī mattā tatsaṃsaktivijṛmbhitam || 20 ||

These endless trains of beings, that are borne away in this running stream of the world, and are buffeting in their ever-increasing difficulties, are all the sports of their earthly inclinations.
