The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथा ध्वान्तसमुच्छेदे स्वयमालोकवेदनम् ।
तथाहंकारविच्छेदे स्वयमात्मावलोकनम् ॥ ४६ ॥

yathā dhvāntasamucchede svayamālokavedanam |
tathāhaṃkāravicchede svayamātmāvalokanam || 46 ||

As the light of the day is seen, after withdrawal of the dark veil of night; so you come to see the light of the soul, after removal of the curtain of your egoism.
