The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहंकाराम्बुदे क्षीणे दृश्यते चिद्दिवाकरः ।
ततस्तत्परिणामेन तत्पदं समवाप्यते ॥ ४५ ॥
ahaṃkārāmbude kṣīṇe dṛśyate ciddivākaraḥ |
tatastatpariṇāmena tatpadaṃ samavāpyate || 45 ||
The sunlight of the intellect comes to view, after dispersion of the cloud of egoism by which it is obscured;and it is after this that you attain the state of supreme felicity.
