The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पापं करोतु सुमहद्बहुलं पुण्यमेव च ।
अद्य वा मृतिमायातु कल्पान्तनिचयेन वा ॥ ५५ ॥

pāpaṃ karotu sumahadbahulaṃ puṇyameva ca |
adya vā mṛtimāyātu kalpāntanicayena vā || 55 ||

Whether drowned in sinfulness, or marked by his meritoriousness; whether he dies this day or lives for a kalpa-age.
