The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.51.15

ततः क्रमेण तपसा शास्त्रार्थनियमैः क्रमैः ।
विवेक आजगामैनं नवर्तुरिव भूतलम् ॥ १५ ॥

tataḥ krameṇa tapasā śāstrārthaniyamaiḥ kramaiḥ |
viveka ājagāmainaṃ navarturiva bhūtalam || 15 ||

As he went on in this manner in his course of austerities, religious studies and observance of his holy rites and duties, the genius of right reason appeared before him, as the new year presents itself before the face of the world.
