Yoga Vasistha [sanskrit]

223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.50.22

सा सत्यता सा शिवता सावस्था पारमात्मिकी ।
सर्वज्ञता सा सा दृष्टिर्नतु यत्र मनः क्षतम् ॥ २२ ॥

sā satyatā sā śivatā sāvasthā pāramātmikī |
sarvajñatā sā sā dṛṣṭirnatu yatra manaḥ kṣatam || 22 ||

That is verily the state of truth and of true felicity. It is the true state of spirituality, and a manner of omniscience; having all-sightedness of its own, and seeing all things in itself. It is quite unconnected with any mental operation, and is enlightened by the light of the spirit.
