The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.47.66

अव्याहतं सकलभूतमुखादथैतदाकर्ण्य सम्यगवलोक्य यथानुभूतम् ।
गाधिः शशाङ्कमलवद्हृदयेऽधिरूढं गूढाकृतिः परमविस्मयमाजगाम ॥ ६६ ॥

avyāhataṃ sakalabhūtamukhādathaitadākarṇya samyagavalokya yathānubhūtam |
gādhiḥ śaśāṅkamalavadhṛdaye'dhirūḍhaṃ gūḍhākṛtiḥ paramavismayamājagāma || 66 ||

Gadhi being informed of all the particulars regarding the chandala, both from the hearsay of the people as well as from his personal observations; returned equally ashamed and astonished to his abode, with the disgraceful reflection of his past vileness, which was stamped like the black spot of the moon upon the tablet of his mind.
