The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रवर्तते समासङ्गात्तेषां भोगविगर्हणा ।
ततो विचारस्तदनु ज्ञानं शास्त्रार्थसंग्रहः ॥ ६७ ॥

pravartate samāsaṅgātteṣāṃ bhogavigarhaṇā |
tato vicārastadanu jñānaṃ śāstrārthasaṃgrahaḥ || 67 ||

Association with the wise produces an aversion to the sensual enjoyments of life, by exciting the reasoning power, which gains for its reward an increase of knowledge and learning.
