The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवं शब्दशतोन्नादपातालतलवारणम् ।
विनायककराकृष्टदीर्घदानवपर्वतम् ॥ ५६ ॥

evaṃ śabdaśatonnādapātālatalavāraṇam |
vināyakakarākṛṣṭadīrghadānavaparvatam || 56 ||

These sounds were resounded by the elephants of the deep (patala);while the bird of heaven—Garuda, was snatching the gigantic demons as his prey.
