The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अल्पाल्पभावनाः काश्चिद्दैन्यदोषवशीकृताः ।
कृशोऽतिदुःखी मूढोऽहमितिदुःखैर्वशीकृताः ॥ ७३ ॥

alpālpabhāvanāḥ kāściddainyadoṣavaśīkṛtāḥ |
kṛśo'tiduḥkhī mūḍho'hamitiduḥkhairvaśīkṛtāḥ || 73 ||

Some that are subjected to penury and poverty, have little to effect in their lives; and always torment themselves with the thoughts, that they are poor and miserable, weak and ignorant.
