The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृढा न याम्बरेऽत्रास्ति नलिनी हेमपङ्कजा ।
लोलवैदूर्यमधुपा सुगन्धितदिगन्तरा ॥ २५ ॥

dṛḍhā na yāmbare'trāsti nalinī hemapaṅkajā |
lolavaidūryamadhupā sugandhitadigantarā || 25 ||

There is no lake of lotuses in the sky, nor is there a lotus growing in the gold mine, whose fragrance fills the air, and attracts the blue bees to suck its honey.
