The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यस्य स्वःसुन्दरीगीता लोकपालचिरश्रुताः ।
विरिञ्चिहंसैर्ध्वन्यन्ते स्वभ्यासाद्गुणगीतयः ॥ १७ ॥

yasya svaḥsundarīgītā lokapālaciraśrutāḥ |
viriñcihaṃsairdhvanyante svabhyāsādguṇagītayaḥ || 17 ||

The regent of the skies heard with attention, the songs of the heavenly maids, and the aerial swans and cranes of Brahma, were responsive to their eulogies with their gabbling cries.
