The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.98.23

इत्युक्त्वा विक्लवान्यङ्गान्यालोक्य स्वान्यतुष्टिमान् ।
रुरोदातिरवं दीनो मेघो वर्षन्निवाटवीम् ॥ २३ ॥

ityuktvā viklavānyaṅgānyālokya svānyatuṣṭimān |
rurodātiravaṃ dīno megho varṣannivāṭavīm || 23 ||

Saying so, he looked sorrowfully into his bruised body and limbs, and then cried aloud and wept a flood of tears, which fell like a shower of rain on the forest ground.
