The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.97.3

ब्रह्मात्मनि जगत्यस्मिन्मन एकाकृतिं गतम् ।
क्वचिन्नरतया रूढं क्वचित्सुरतयोत्थितम् ॥ ३ ॥

brahmātmani jagatyasminmana ekākṛtiṃ gatam |
kvacinnaratayā rūḍhaṃ kvacitsuratayotthitam || 3 ||

The mind became amalgamated (identic), with the contents of the world, in the Spirit of Brahma, now showing itself in the form of man, and now appearing as a God.
