The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अजोष्ट्रमृगहस्त्यश्वसिंहव्याघ्रादिनर्तितम् ।
नर्तक्येव चिरं रङ्गे वलयाङ्गदमङ्गके ॥ २५ ॥

ajoṣṭramṛgahastyaśvasiṃhavyāghrādinartitam |
nartakyeva ciraṃ raṅge valayāṅgadamaṅgake || 25 ||

The body with its members, moves about like the beasts of the forest (for their prey); and it plays its parts like an actress in the stage, with goodly apparel and ornaments on her person.
