The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.62.14

विरिञ्चयाद्यात्मभिर्बुद्धैर्बोधायाविदितात्मनाम् ।
ब्रह्मात्मैव सा नियतिः सर्गोऽयमिति कथ्यते ॥ १४ ॥

viriñcayādyātmabhirbuddhairbodhāyāviditātmanām |
brahmātmaiva sā niyatiḥ sargo'yamiti kathyate || 14 ||

The learned have explained Brahma the Demiurge, to be identic with the Spirit of Brahma, for the understanding of those that are ignorant in spiritual knowledge; and by destiny they mean his creation.
