The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विदूरथलीलोवाच ।
देवि तस्मिन्प्रदेशे सा जातमूर्च्छा तदाभवम् ।
द्वितीयेन्दोः कलेवाहं कल्पान्तज्वालया हता ॥ २६ ॥

vidūrathalīlovāca |
devi tasminpradeśe sā jātamūrcchā tadābhavam |
dvitīyendoḥ kalevāhaṃ kalpāntajvālayā hatā || 26 ||

The younger lila answered said:—As I lay insensible on that spot (upon the shock of my death), I was enveloped in darkness like the new moon, and felt myself burnt away by the flame of a conflagration.
