The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.49.29

जगृहुस्तान्पिशाचांस्ता दुर्बलान्दुःशिशूनिव ।
पिशाचरूपिकासैन्यं तदासीदेकतां गतम् ॥ २९ ॥

jagṛhustānpiśācāṃstā durbalānduḥśiśūniva |
piśācarūpikāsainyaṃ tadāsīdekatāṃ gatam || 29 ||

They laid hold of the Pisachas as men catch little boys, and joined with them in one body as their consorts.
