The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दुर्वासनाकलुषिता ततोऽहं मानुषी स्थिता ।
संसारमण्डलेऽन्यस्मिन्पन्नगेश्वरकामिनी ॥ ३७ ॥

durvāsanākaluṣitā tato'haṃ mānuṣī sthitā |
saṃsāramaṇḍale'nyasminpannageśvarakāminī || 37 ||

Being debased by my libertinism, I was born in this mortal world, and became the mate of the king of the feathered tribe.
