The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.18.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्थं विनोदयामीदं दुःखदं चित्तमित्यलम् ।
बोधयित्वेङ्गितैर्भूपानास्थानादुत्थिताथ सा ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
itthaṃ vinodayāmīdaṃ duḥkhadaṃ cittamityalam |
bodhayitveṅgitairbhūpānāsthānādutthitātha sā || 1 ||

She said, "I have much consolation in you, and now will I console my sorrowing heart."So saying, she made a sign for the assembly to break, and rose from her royal seat.
