The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अतत्त्वज्ञमनादेयवचनं वाग्विदां वर ।
यः पृच्छति नरं तस्मान्नास्ति मूढतरोऽपरः ॥ ४५ ॥

atattvajñamanādeyavacanaṃ vāgvidāṃ vara |
yaḥ pṛcchati naraṃ tasmānnāsti mūḍhataro'paraḥ || 45 ||

O best of the eloquent, you must not receive the instruction of one unacquainted with truth himself; whoever asks him anything is the greatest of fools.
