अतः पुरुषयत्नेन यतितव्यं यथा तथा ।
पुंसा तन्त्रेण सद्योगाद्येनाश्वद्यतनो जयेत् ॥ ६ ॥

ataḥ puruṣayatnena yatitavyaṃ yathā tathā |
puṃsā tantreṇa sadyogādyenāśvadyatano jayet || 6 ||

Therefore should man apply himself diligently (to his duties), and employ his skill and promptness after them in such a way, as his to-day may overcome the morrow.
