पाद्मसंहितायाम् ।
दशमोऽध्यायः ।
सकामनिष्कामानुष्ठेय महोत्सवप्रश्नः. ।
ब्रह्मा ।
कथं महोत्सवः कश्चित् कीदृक्तस्य फलं च किम् ।
फलकामैरनुष्ठातुमविज्ञातो न शक्यते ॥ 1 ॥

daśamo'dhyāyaḥ |
sakāmaniṣkāmānuṣṭheya mahotsavapraśnaḥ. |
brahmā |
kathaṃ mahotsavaḥ kaścit kīdṛktasya phalaṃ ca kim |
phalakāmairanuṣṭhātumavijñāto na śakyate || 1 ||
