अष्टमोऽध्यायः ।
विज्ञानोपायत तपश्चर्या स्वरूपप्रश्नः ।
ब्रह्माः ।
विज्ञानोपायारूपेण तपश्चर्या च कीर्तिता ।
भगवन् तत्तपः क्रीदृक् किं वा तत्कथ्यतां मम ॥ 1 ॥

vijñānopāyata tapaścaryā svarūpapraśnaḥ |
brahmāḥ |
vijñānopāyārūpeṇa tapaścaryā ca kīrtitā |
