The Sanskrit edition of the Katyayana-smriti referencing the English translation and grammatical analysis. The Katyayana-smriti is one of the minor works on Dharmashastra as mentioned in the Yajnavalkya-smriti. कार्यस्य निर्णयं सम्यग्ज्ञात्वा सभ्यस्ततो वदेत् ।
अन्यथा नैव वक्तव्यं वक्ता द्विगुणदण्डभाक् ॥ १० [८०] ॥

kāryasya nirṇayaṃ samyagjñātvā sabhyastato vadet |
anyathā naiva vaktavyaṃ vaktā dviguṇadaṇḍabhāk || 10 [80] ||
