This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 31.3

बुद्धो तुवं होहिसि लोकनायको ।
अनागते इमस्मिं भद्रकल्पे ।
कपिलाह्वये ऋषिवदनस्मिं शाकियो ।
तदा तव प्रणिधिविपाको भेष्यति ॥ ३ ॥

buddho tuvaṃ hohisi lokanāyako |
anāgate imasmiṃ bhadrakalpe |
kapilāhvaye ṛṣivadanasmiṃ śākiyo |
tadā tava praṇidhivipāko bheṣyati || 3 ||

When that auspicious kalpa comes, you will he a Buddha, a guide of the world, in Rishivadana, a Shakyan of the city named Kapila. Then will your vow he realised. (3)
