This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 23.53

पात्रे च प्रविशमाने अत्राणभयार्दिता व्यसनप्राप्ता ।
सर्वे एकवाचम् अवचि नमो दशबलस्य बुद्धस्य ॥ ५३ ॥

pātre ca praviśamāne atrāṇabhayārditā vyasanaprāptā |
sarve ekavācam avaci namo daśabalasya buddhasya || 53 ||

“When the vessels came my way all the merchants, distraught with terror at the peril they were in, with one voice called out, ‘Homage to the Buddha, to the Dashabala.’ (53)
