This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 21.85

मृदु जाला च प्रतिपूर्णा एका ऊर्ध्वाग्र पंचमा ।
श्लक्ष्णच्छवि हंसान्तरा च उत्सदा च ते दश ॥ ८५ ॥

mṛdu jālā ca pratipūrṇā ekā ūrdhvāgra paṃcamā |
ślakṣṇacchavi haṃsāntarā ca utsadā ca te daśa || 85 ||

His hands and feet are soft and tender. His hands and feet are net-like. His body is perfectly formed. The down on his body grows in single hairs, one to each pore. The down on his body grows straight upwards. He has a smooth skin. He has a [ ? ] skin. He has the gait of a swan. There is no hollow between his shoulder blades. His body has the seven convex surfaces. (85)
