This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.
Verse 13.22
उत्तरस्मिं दिशो भागे बुद्धक्षेत्रं मनोरमं ।
तत्र नामेन संबुद्धो पूर्णचन्द्रो विधिश्रुतः ॥ २२ ॥
uttarasmiṃ diśo bhāge buddhakṣetraṃ manoramaṃ |
tatra nāmena saṃbuddho pūrṇacandro vidhiśrutaḥ || 22 ||
In the northern quarter of the world there is a pleasant Buddha-field, where abides the Buddha named Purnacandra, learned in the sacred lore. (22)
