This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 13.14

पुरस्तिमे दिशो भागे बुद्धक्षेत्रं कृतागदं ।
तत्र सिंहहनुर् नाम जिनो द्वात्रिंशलक्षणः ॥ १४ ॥

purastime diśo bhāge buddhakṣetraṃ kṛtāgadaṃ |
tatra siṃhahanur nāma jino dvātriṃśalakṣaṇaḥ || 14 ||

In the eastern quarter of the world there is a healthy Buddha-field, where abides the Conqueror with the thirty-two marks, named Simhahanu. (14)
