This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 7.76

भूमीनां परिणामानि यथावत् अनुकीर्तय ।
यथा च ते विवर्तन्ते संसरन्तो महायशा ॥ ७६ ॥

bhūmīnāṃ pariṇāmāni yathāvat anukīrtaya |
yathā ca te vivartante saṃsaranto mahāyaśā || 76 ||

“Tell me now the manner of the transitions from bhumi to bhumi, and how the glorious Bodhisattvas lapse as they pass from one life to another. (76)
